Dan Nevez,
Research Director, comes
to The Boulware Group with an expertise derived from a decade of scholarship at
a major research university. He has published several articles in peer-reviewed
journals and has delivered academic papers on socio-economic history at academic
conferences. Dan is an expert in cultural anthropology and has worked as a
researcher at the Oriental Institute Museum. He has taught courses on history
and ancient languages at the University of Chicago.
Dan has led our successful research efforts for
national, regional, and local clients such as Children’s Defense Fund, Banco
Popular, The Faith & Politics Institute, National Mental Health Association,
Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights
Under Law, District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority, University of
Chicago, and Parents, Families, & Friends of Lesbians & Gays. He is
skilled in finding high performing leaders for nonprofit, banking, academic,
cultural, and financial organizations, and creating pools of diverse
candidates. Dan recently led our work for the United Negro College Fund to find
a new leader of the Gates Millennium Scholars Program, the world’s largest
scholarship program.
He holds a bachelor’s degree
from the University of Oklahoma, where he graduated with honors and was elected
to Phi Beta Kappa. There, he was the first Latino elected as chairman of the
University of Oklahoma Student Congress. He has a master’s degree from the
University of Chicago, and is a former Ph.D. candidate at the University of
Chicago. He has a reading knowledge of Spanish, German, French, and several
ancient languages.
